Reed (the "Service") is a private personal household assistant available only to the Sole Proprietor account holder and one explicitly authorized family member ("Authorized Users"). The Service responds to SMS messages from these Authorized Users with reminders, household memory lookups, shopping search links, location lookups, and similar conversational assistance.
The Service is provided exclusively to the two Authorized Users on a hard-coded allowlist. No other person is permitted to use the Service. The Service has no public sign-up mechanism.
Authorized Users agree to use the Service for personal household purposes only and not for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Message frequency varies based on Authorized User initiation. Typical usage is a few messages to a few dozen messages per day. Standard message and data rates from the user's mobile carrier may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, HELP for help.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The Sole Proprietor does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that responses will be accurate. Authorized Users should independently verify any information provided.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Sole Proprietor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Service.
Use of the Service is also subject to the Reed Privacy Policy, which describes how data is collected, used, and protected.
The Sole Proprietor may discontinue the Service at any time. Authorized Users may discontinue use at any time by replying STOP to any message.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance.
Questions about these Terms may be directed to the Sole Proprietor account holder via the email address registered with the SMS provider.
